Purdue, I actually hate OSU. I just acknowledge talent when I see it. Stroud and Young are on the same level, Stroud is just standard NFL QB size, which is the tiebreaker in this case.

I will say Young is more of a Russell Wilson and Stroud is more of an Aaron Rodgers in terms of play style and ceiling. I do realize size comps are also relatively close there.

O'Connell? He's too erratic and strictly a pocket passer. You could see it in him throwing at the combine yesterday. His ball placement is less than ideal and so is his athleticism in the modern NFL. He might be a good backup who could make a spot start and not throw away your playoff chances if the starter has to miss 2-3 weeks, but I don't think he'll be starter material.

There's some Edge in this story, and well that turned out to be one of the greatest stories in NFL history.

Was listening to a radio show tonight talking about how the level of risk in taking a player like him is now so much lower due to the salary cap. They used the Sam Bradford example and the hell you used to have to pay taking a gamble whereas now- meh you suck again but your cap isn't shattered so you can go back to the well immediately.

More and more I like the tought of gambling and going after him at # 1. DOES NOT APPEAR TO HAVE ANY OF THE DEMARCUS RUSSEL TRAITS- sort of obvious by him looking like a freakin muscle machine at combine.

Looks like he was on a Netflix special?

Also seen he wanted to be a fireman before his football stardom

It’s always the first thing I think of when people equate football to fighting dogs.

Even when I hear analysts say it during games I have to laugh

Watching him play last, it was his leadership and getting everything out of every play. I think he is someone you draft late and see what he can do.

Sure, as a backup. He's no Purdy, that's for sure.

Montana was a 3rd. rounder and according to experts the niners "reached" Never trust those fucking geeks. Turned out pretty well for a team that "reached"

I wasnt thinking about dog fighting. My daughter has a 75 lb, schnoodle doodle who thinks he is a lap dog. Hes got a smaller sibling who spends most of the day grabbing his tail and dragging him around on the hardwood floor.
