The reality is in the NFL the franchise QB is becoming less.

The only time that Bert Jones did not want to be a Colt was in his final season with the team, in 1981. That was when he feuded with running back Curtis Dickey when Jones alleged that Dickey did not block for him, and he was angry with Robert Irsay for not paying him the salary that he thought that he was worth and for Irsay allowing the excellent team that Joe Thomas had built to deteriorate into the worst team in the NFL.

In 2009, Bert was one of the 39 surviving members of the 1975 Colts team to attend a reunion of the 1975 AFC East championship team at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, a team that was Jim Irsay's favorite Colts team of all-time (Jim was a 16 year-old waterboy for that 1975 Colts team.)

This is a picture of Bert with Lydell Mitchell at that reunion at Lucas Oil Stadium in 2009.

Not if five of those losses come with Riley Leonard under Center. Just like having a great QB covers up a host of sins, starting Leonard makes the team look worse than it is.

I suggest you buckle up, homey. It's gonna be a rough rest of the season and off season.

Steichen just said that Riley Leonard has a knee injury.

They hope that he will be available next game, but at this point, they are not sure.
