Let's assume that we win this weekend. The question then becomes, is Ballard willing to fortify the DE position with a veteran addition?

There is not much out there to choose from. But I don't wanna live in a world of what if's either.

I'd roll with Latu, Paye, and Dayo. Those are 3 of the top 4 at the start of the year anyway. Get Buck back and the D should get rolling.

When does Paye return? Also, it seems like the pass rush is not as effective when Latu is not on the field.

Absolutely the case. Even when he isn't getting pressure, he is forcing movement in the pocket most of the time.

Also notice he is moving around some- which I love. Tells me they see a multi-talented DL in him vs just a straight edge rusher with only sack skills.

Not to mention Adebare and Land seem to have some explosive potential as well

What's old is the notion that players are necessarily soft if they don't play with injuries that could affect their long-term health. None of us know the extent of Richardson's hip injury, and if the Colts are making sure that it won't endanger his season or his career, they are doing the right thing.

He cannot keep putting himself in harms way and losing out on valuable on field time. You can’t be a dual threat QB that leaves the field every time you take a hit

You'll get no argument from me there. I have specifically stated that he needs to learn from last season, and only put his head down and fight for yards in crucial situations ...... last year, he was reckless in situations that did not warrant it (usually on 1st and 2nd downs.)

AR downgraded to doubtful for tomorrow in Jacksonville.

Looks like old man Flacco will start.

Probably just as well. We aren’t winning anyway. No need to send him out there less than 100 percent on a lost cause.

Colts are going to need to think about drafting a qb again. Love everything about AR's potential but he just can't stay healthy. Need a a reliable qb.

Suck this year....draft a couple of lock down CBs in 2025.

Suck next year....draft Arch Manning at #1 in 2026
.

Trade for Marvin Harrison Junior!
