Colts sign LS Luke Rhodes to contract extension

The Colts signed LS Luke Rhodes to an extension today.

Good. Indy has been spoiled with great S.T. specialist's. It would be a shame to let a really good one get away, and see the fan base complain when a longsnapper is replaced with someone who hikes it terribly. (even though many are probably right now complaining about the money we paid for a good one).

Most don’t know this but Colts snapper Luke Rhodes has really only been snapping for 2 years or so. He’s a linebacker turned long snapper & worked his tail off to get better at such a specialized skill. He played guard on the punt unit in ‘16. Now he’s the best snapper in the NFL

Most guys take years to develop their skills & ability to snap at the highest level. Luke went from ok to elite in 2 years. Incredible.
