Default Predict the Colts Final 53 Man Roster

The NFL changed the rule for roster cuts this year - instead of a gradual trimming of the roster through multiple cut dates, there is now just the one final cut date - teams need to pare down to 53 players by Tuesday, August 29.

Cannot have a guy on this roster named Vanderslice. It's too traumatic.

My best guess, but the Taylor situation makes this more difficult than it needs to be.

That was tough to do. I wanted to keep a few guys for depth, so hoping they make it to the practice squad.

When you look at the roster, we don't look half bad!

Not really. OL depth is an issue, like everywhere else in the league. Lots of potential on this roster. Need to stay healthy, and develop AR.

Another wild card is what happens with Special Teams.

Lost Dulin to injury.

A few guys who played a lot of snaps last season are now gone.

If Deon Jackson has a more prominent role in the offense, his special teams snaps will probably decrease as well.

The question is which end of roster guys look good on Special Teams. Could tip the scales for them to make the team.

I think it could be Washington, tbh

I will take a stab at it, with Pinter done I would imagine after cut downs the OL changes a bit. Notable cut Mo Allie Cox who if elect to keep 5 TE's over 6 WR I see Washington as next man out ?

OFFENSE:

OL (08): Bernhard Raimann, Quenton Nelson, Ryan Kelly, Will Fries, Braden Smith, Blake Freeland, Wesley French, Carter O’Donnell

QB (3): Sam Ehlinger, Gardner Minshew, Anthony Richardson

RB (4): Evan Hull, Deon Jackson, Zack Moss, Jonathan Taylor

WR (6): Alec Pierce, Michael Pittman Jr., Josh Downs, Isaiah McKenzie, James Washington, Juwann Winfree

TE (4): Kylen Granson, Will Mallory, Drew Ogletree, Jelani Woods

DEFENSE:

DL (9): Adetomiwa Adebawore, Taven Bryan, DeForest Buckner, Samson Ebukam, Eric Johnson II, Tyquan Lewis, Dayo Odeyingbo, Kwity Paye, Grover Stewart

LB (6): JoJo Domann, Zaire Franklin, Shaquille Leonard, Segun Olubi, EJ Speed, Grant Stuard

CB (6): Darrell Baker Jr., Julius Brents, Dallis Flowers, Jaylon Jones, Kenny Moore II, Darius Rush

S (4): Julian Blackmon, Nick Cross, Trevor Denbow, Rodney Thomas II,

SPECIALISTS:

ST (3): K-Matt Gay, LS-Luke Rhodes, P-Rigoberto Sanchez
