With the run of OT's in the 2nd round, Ballard doubles down on pass rush and drafts another DE.

I said I was gonna draft myself a couch, have a beverage and let CB #DoHisJob and #TrustTheProcess and all that good stuff.
Robert Mathis tweet after the two DEs drafted. |

Excited to see the progress. They were stoked drafting this guy.
Brings to mind (again) the concern for Julian Blackmon coming back from his achilles. I expect he'll play this season, likely earlier than you might think. But getting back to form is a different story. |

Adding Yannick and the (hopeful) development of our 2nd year players could add some real juice to the pass rush and D-line play.
If so, this defense could really be special. I am pretty excited to see them on the field. |

Rushing the passer is the hardest thing to do in football. It is the only way you can play great QBs and have a chance-you have got to put pressure on them. It is the biggest thing we have lacked as a defense these past few years. Ballard knows this so he keeps trying. I'm with you in being excited about seeing what these dudes can bring. Fingers crossed

Being a dick can be an advantage playing D. If he can make plays, thats what counts

I looked it up, and Dayo has Bubba Smith like size.
Not so impressive for Dayo. But think about Bubba being Dayo's size in 1968. Back then he would be going against 240 to 265 OL, rarely taller than 6'3". |
