Quentin Nelson permanent left tackle

It sure would solve a lot of problems if Nelson became the permanent left tackle. Much easier to find a decent guard than a quality left tackle. I would think big Q is athletic enough to play the position. Anyone else agree?

Hes the best athlete on the line. They are going to spend huge money to keep him, at either spot, so money isnt an issue.

It will also depend on the draft, free agency, and Castonzo.

I'm good with him playing tackle in a pinch and for a few games. Do not want to move him from guard permanently. One of his best attributes is his incredible instincts in helping out others on the line. We would lose that ability plus he would not pull as effectively from the tackle-he is now the best pulling guard in football.

Agree. I would rather find a true LT and keep Q at guard.

Will peeps stop saying that Q is the best athlete
on the line. It's simply not true.

Braden Smith is the best athlete on the line and his combine numbers prove that out. Hence his seamless
transition from OG to OT.

I think Braden Smith is a natural guard and would be better there.

And what makes you an expert? It has been stated, Smith is a natural guard and mostly played that position at Auburn.
