With the 127th pick, the Colts take SMU tight end Kylen Granson. First time the Colts have picked a tight end with Chris Ballard at the helm.

From the NFL Network broadcast, Granson sounds like a move tight end who can also play H-back.

Good big-play production at SMU, averaged 16.8 and 15.3 yards per catch in his two seasons at SMU.

Lots to like from Granson as a wide receiver/TE hybrid — we know Frank Reich loves this — but the biggest knocks are his drops.

Reich's on record saying he can live with the occasional drop if the big plays are there. (Think Ebron in 2018)
