It not one thing or the other, it's BOTH. You get some pass rush, it makes playing DB a lot easier. Freeney and Mathis made work easier for their DB's.

No shit. We've already had that discussion. A good pass rush helps the secondary and a good secondary also can help a pass rush.
BUT....Every team has these same rules that their secondary has to go by covering those WR's and NONE of them suck as bad as the Colts secondary has the last two weeks or has ever allowed 29 of 30 completions, the lone incompletion was a pass behind the line of scrimmage. Literally every pass Brees threw beyond the line of scrimmage he completed. I don't give a fuck how poor your pass rush is, that is fucking PATHETIC on a whole new level.
