It will help the Colts a lot if Basham develops into a starting OLB (or DE if we go back to a base 4-3). Nothing wrong with him being a big fish in a small pond in the MAC as long as he raises his game like he talked about. Realizing he was skating by (those are good numbers for a guy skating by) and working harder as a result is a good start.
