Racehorse touched on Brees' past injury in another thread. I wasn't sure but Brees did, in fact, tear his labrum.
James Andrews has said in the past Brees' recovery from that injury is the most remarkable he's ever witnessed. Hopefully Brees is not the exception to the rule. I am skeptical that others should expect to be so lucky and could see Luck attempting to come back just to have his shoulder let him down. |
I was going to mention that one of the other times it was brought up, but I wasn't sure of the doctor and was too lazy to look it up, let alone link to the story. Drew Brees results are far from the norm.
