I honestly think both share culpability. Grigson and Pags put together a talent poor roster that cannot be corrected in one year. Grigson must take most of the blame for that. Pags must shoulder the blame for who he chooses to play each week as well as how much time they see the field and in what role. Execution on the part of the players has been poor for the most part. They must carry that responsibility but certainly any decent coach recognizes execution is also a reflection of coaching, good or bad. It seems quite obvious to me that there are both a lack of in game adjustments as well as player accountability and that rests squarely on the coaches shoulders. Undeniably this is a better team with Luck under center but it would also be undeniable that this team would be far better off with most current NFL coaches were they on our sideline. My opinion has not changed, Irsay should have gotten rid of both Grigson AND Pagano last year. Removing the undesirables on the roster will take some more time but Pags should be gone already. Based on your posts I imagine we will have to agree to disagree.
