Yes, I guess if understanding that every single player and coach has came under Ballard’s tenure is surface level consider me guilty. If understanding won loss records is surface level, again guilty. But hey at least my number one defense of a guy isn’t “he’s liked by Polian”.
It’s funny, my surface level knowledge predicted mediocrity for Ballard since his second offseason. Yeah, I’ve really missed the mark there…. In my defense at the time I didn’t realize Polian liked him.

Josh McDaniels was one of the most pursued assistant coaches in the entire league. You act like that was out of left field, it wasn't. He was turning down teams every year. Now I lived in Denver at the time he was there. I personally saw what he did and thought he was a bad coach. But not the rest of the league, he was on every team's top five list of coaches except maybe the Broncos. I thought they dodged a bullet there anyway.
You don't know who sets a depth chart, you don't how basic stuff in football works and blame the GM for everything. Even on this team. You dismiss the opinions of guys that worked in the field at the highest level for their entire lives simply because it doesn't match your perception. You are an example of whats wrong with the internet, giving voice to the uninformed and everyone thinks they are an expert. I bet you walk into the hospital and tell doctors how to perform a surgery. You've yet to prove your opinion should be valued at all.
Sure, you are a nostradamus of football predictions. Should you hang a banner?
