Indianapolis Colts: ll Daniel Jones, QB
The Colts were so desperate to retain Jones in free agency that they placed the transition tag on him before awarding him a 2-year, $88 Million contract with $50 Million guaranteed at signing. Keep in mind, Jones only appeared in 13 games last year due to a fractured left fibula, which he played through, and a season-ending torn right Achilles tendon. If Jones, who’s on track to start in Week 1, can’t stay healthy again or his hot start from last year proves to be a fluke, then the Colts’ cycle of quarterback purgatory continues.
