Quenton Nelson: l Nelson might be the league's most fun lineman to watch now that Jason Kelce has retired. It's one thing to see a guard pull on power or trap, as Nelson will do, but it's another to see him running all the way to the boundary and escort blocking, as he did on a big play against the Bills this season. Big men aren't supposed to move the way Nelson does. He's so good at actually blocking the defender he's trying to hit as a puller when other linemen merely would strike a glancing blow or miss outright.
The Ravens and the Eagles are the only two teams that have more runs of 20-plus yards than the Colts this season, and so much of that goes behind Nelson. This final guard spot was close; it's tough to keep out Elgton Jenkins, who became the second player in the past six years to allow zero quick quarterback pressures, per NFL Next Gen Stats. Nelson is a force of nature, though.
