Yeah, some great names from those days.
C&O- help me- what was the year where we beat the Steelers on the tipped pass across the middle where it landed perfectly in Bill Brooks hands and he raced off to win the game ???

The 1987 won the division title for the first time ever in Indianapolis ...... that was great.
I was really glad that Nesby Glasgow got to be a part of that team, because he paid his dues with mostly bad teams from 1979 through 1986 just prior to that ...... the 1980 team wasn't bad, and the 1983 team was competitive, but other than that the Colts' Dark Ages was from 1978 through 1986.
Regarding Bill Brooks, he played with the Colts from 1986 though 1992, and the Colts lost all 3 games in which they played the Steelers in that time-frame (1987, 1991, and 1992.) ...... you may be thinking of 1984, when Mike Pagel threw a 54-yard TD pass to Ray Butler with 34 seconds to play in the 4th quarter to give the Colts a 17-16 win.
