The terrible icing on the cake was the uncatchability of the ball on the DPI call. Manute Bol dressed in basketball gear standing with no defender around him in the back of the endzone could not have high pointed that ball for a catch on the DPI call. It was uncatcable.
Refs decided who won and who lost that game. I really did not have a problem at all with the calls up until that point but on those two plays, the refs beat us. Not the Browns.
That said, we ended up with what I consider was the best outcome for the Colts. We played hard, were really close and still lost in the end.
I am not convinced that we are out of the Marvin Harrision Junior runnings!

Been trying to put this into words and Ironshaft did it for me. Thanks. Losing gets us a better draft position but Steichen cannot lose the team. We need to go into next year running on all cylinders with AR, not with a defeatist attitude. So far so good. I do not think this is a lost year, AR and the Colts should feel great about how he played when he did actually play. Having a year to learn the offense can only help his development. . Love your optimism about Marvin Jr. Not sure if I agree but whomever we draft AR needs more weapons.
