That's making 2 very big assumptions.
A)
) The Colts would necessarily keep the Jaguars off of the scoreboard for the rest of the game.
B)
) The Colts would necessarily succeed on the 2-point conversion try after one of their touchdowns.
You can make the argument that they should have gone for the field goal, but I don't think that it was a no-brainer when taking into consideration how crappy the Colts have played on both sides of the ball today.
