How about a QB who completed 71% of his passes for 5111 yards 45 TD and only 9 INT? He'd be an NFL stud, right? Then why did he only ever play in 4 NFL games and complete 2/4 passes for 20 yards? Could it be possible that college stats can be deceiving? As for Hooker, his numbers aren't all luck, there are play designs for high percentage passes. If you don't care about having a predictable offense with no deep passing game, and very little potential of improvement from that, Hooker is fine I suppose. His ball placement and accuracy on NFL caliber throws leaves a lot to be desired.
