Jeff Saturday is the anti-Jim Caldwell in regard to calling time-outs ...... he is very definitive, non-hesitant, and most importantly good at it on both sides of the ball (offense and defense.)

I just witnessed him do a masterful job of time-management in the final minute of the 1st half ..... he called a time-out IMMEDIATELY when the Raiders were tacked in-bounds when they were inside the Colts' 10-yardline, and he called another timeout IMMEDIATELY after Matt Ryan made a long completion over the middle shortly after that.

Excellentl clock-management by Saturday to close out the first half ...... they had to make sure that if they missed the long field-goal-attempt, the Eagles would have almost no time to get into field-goal range themselves ...... that's why Saturday bled the clock after the runner was tacked-in bounds on 2nd down.

As good as his clock-management was against the Raiders and the Eagles, it was awful on the Colts' final drive against the Steelers ...... l Matt Ryan l gave us life with a 14-yard scramble on 2nd and 17. With 3 timeouts, Saturday let the clock run. The next call was extremely predictable, and we lost 1 yard on it. That whole scenario turned a very manageable 3rd-and-3 into a very scary 4th-and-4.
