However ...... it is quite another thing to play like that against a team that is undefeated, and regarded by many as the best in the NFL.
So, the question is ...... can the Colts rise to the occasion and beat the Eagles, or at least play well in defeat and make the Eagles earn a hard-fought victory ??? Most rational people will say "No." A few dreamers with royal blue sun-glasses will say, "Maybe." Either way, one thing is for sure ...... the brief honeymoon phase for Jeff Saturday will end on Sunday, regardless of the outcome of that game. If the Colts get blown out, then the win over the Raiders will be minimized as one bottom-feeder having beaten another bottom-feeder. And if the Colts win and/or lose a close, well-played game, expectations for the rest of this 2022 season will no longer be apathetically low.

The Colts lost, but Colts fans appeared to be pissed off at the loss, more so than when they lost a 1-point game to the Commanders ...... the expectations from here on out should not be as apathetic as they had been 2 weeks ago, after the annihilation by the Patriots.
