Regardless of what just happened with the Bills and the Bengals both losing to NFC teams, our season is going to come down to the game against the Patriots.

All season long, we have been like a cat chasing its tail, just a step behind where we need to be in both individual games as well as in the standings ...... and if we lose to the Patriots, it will be more of the same.

So we can scoreboard watch and root against other AFC-contending teams all we want ...... if we lose to the Patriots, it will be just one more example of us being a small step too slow to be regarded as a bona-fide contender for a conference championship.

I'm not predicting whether or not the Colts will lose ...... I'm laying out the groundwork for what the scenario will be if they lose.

I'm not sure how the Nostradamus/Nostradumbass reference is relevant to my post.
