In school, I learned very quickly that I could make Bs and an occasional A just by showing up...never took a book home and only had to go to school half days my senior year. I believe our defense has some talented guys and under the right coaching and motivation could be much better and not constantly have these lapses...I'm sorry, I don't want to call them lazy, but they seem prone to just doing what has to be done!
Somebody needs to light a fire under this defense, somebody needs to impress on them the importance of playing 60 minutes and taking some pride in your work!
