Wentz is just as guilty now as he was in Philly. I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt, that his line was terrible and that's why he took a beating. Nope, seen enough, he won't throw it on schedule unless dude is wide open. Case in point, and a personification of why this team now sucks. Early in the game 3rd down, they load up, they don't just bring 5, they bring 6. Taylor steps up, gives him exactly what he needs to step into the pass, he instead pumps- obviously trying to freeze someone, and in turn basically has to just noodle arm it into nothingness. Terrible, horrible, miserable. It's a 6 man blitz, YOU DO NOT HOLD that ball, you don't hold that ball in high school let alone the NFL.

Then to flip things around and again shine a giant spotlight on how poorly coached this team is. I think it was mid 2nd quarter, think it was 3rd and 12 or something for them. EVERY, and I mean EVERY team in the NFL brings heat in that situation forcing a quick throw as to avoid the receivers or backs getting beyond the sticks. What does Ebersuck do, he goes 4 man only. Not only that, he for some inexplicable reason loads one side with 3 basically in a bunc and then ONE DE on the right side--- one guy on that side of the line. Did we fire a blitz into the giant void in the middle, did we run a stunt, did we do a damned thing to try to confuse the OL? Hell no, we rushed 4 dudes exactly as they were lined up. Tanny sat in the pocket, played scrabble, at a ham sandwich and then tossed the ball to a dude for 15 and a FD.

Somewhere along the line this team deviated from being big, physical, fast, to gimmick gimmick gimmick. Not sure why but we've decided we are smart and we'll use the smarts to beat em'! Hey Frank, you might want to check on Charlie Weiss and ask him how his decided schematic advantage turned out...

This sucks!
