Agreed. He should have sat today for several reasons.
1) Wentz was not even close to being 100 % healthy today, and we may have done just as well (perhaps even a little better) if we had a healthy 2nd-string quarterback (Eason/Ehlinger/Hundley) taking the snaps.
2) This may or may not be a wasted season ......
if it does wind up being a wasted season, then playing Wentz with both of his ankles hurting with a team that already had an 0-2 record coming into this game made no sense at all.
We got the worst of both worlds today ...... Wentz played
AND we lost the game. The risk-reward decision was highly questionable, at best.
