I just like the kid, and think he'll be a great fit. And while I admit I don't know much about Radunz or Schwartz, I'm not sold on Eichenberg. I know his stats show him not allowing a sack for 30+ games, but if you watched many Irish games, you'll know that Book was under constant pressure from all angles against quality defensive lines, and he was a wizard at escaping pressure and making plays. Eichenberg wasn't particularly stout, IMO.

I didn't even know Eichenberg never allowed a sack, that's impressive. I watched several ND games, Book being under pressure was more on Book than the ND OL. He liked to dance in the pocket and wait for something to come open, often holding the ball for 4-5 seconds. That's asking to get sacked as a modern day QB. I watched Eichenberg's pass pro and it seemed solid to me. He occasionally misread, but he rarely got physically beat. The former can be coached out.
