HC record? 11-28-1.
Or Rod Dowhower from 1985-1986 with a 5-24 record.
Or Lindy Infante from 1996 - 1997 with a 12-20 record.
Since then:
32-32-0 = Jim Mora, 1998 - 2001
85-27-0 = Tony Dungy, 2002 - 2008
26-22-0 = Jim Caldwell, 2009 - 2011
49-31-0 = Pags, 2012 - Present
While Dungy was the only true standout of the crowd, none were horrible. Of course, having Peyton or Luck as your QB covers over a TON of warts.
Hmmmm.....interesting.
088 - 135 - 0 = Indy Colts record prior to Peyton (39.5% win rate)
192 - 112 - 0 = Indy Colts record in Manning/Luck eras (63.2% win rate)
How much is a franchise QB worth again?

Thinking about your list, made me think about some of the other HC's the Colts had. One was Teddy Marchibroda who was 30-34 from 1992-1995, but he did have the Colts in the AFC championship game against the Steelers which they should have won.
