Redskins released ILB Zach Brown.
The move clears $5.75 million in cap room for the Redskins. Brown will turn 30 later this year but remains a productive off-ball linebacker. Zach Brown to ILB beside Leonard with Walker as depth and SSLB when needed? That is an upgrade.
But Ballard is not signing a 30 year old player who is not a kicker. Young core above all at this stage of team development.
