Luck week 4

Pretty decent NFL highlights of many of Luck's throws from week 4.

I did not realize how good of a game he had.

Luck played a hell of a game. Time for the organization to surround him with a little more fucking talent.

This whole trent Richardson andre Johnson Frank gore grigson shit really set us back years....

We have to stick with the plan. We saw some bright spots in our young wrs. Get the o line fixed and fixed deep.

I am watching the game again on gamepass and I didn’t realize how well the line played. For the most part anyway. I know there wer some breakdowns

Having watched this team go from shit to good (and on occasion great) multiple times over my life (I'm 66) this is the 'feel' I see and get when a team is morphing into something special. It may not happen, but I never have had this feeling since Luck has been with us. Those early Pagano/Grigson years never felt like team building, it felt like we had an incredible talent at qb who make shit smell like roses. This is different. Specific parts of the team are playing well. This draft looks like it may be a great one. Incredibly young and thus inconsistent, but way way better than I thought they would be. I'm still in a shock that we actually are getting sacks, it wonderful. Enjoying this 1-3 season so far. One more good draft (and maybe a free agent or two Mr Ballard) and we could be on our way. Gonna be nice!!

Just watched the 1st half and the tackles were beat badly several times. I’m assuming they did better in the 2nd half, though.

Sounds like there are some quality tackles in this draft. Wouldn’t mind one in the 1st.

I’m seeing a lot of quality tackles and defensive lineman at the top of mock drafts. These narrow losses may payoff in the long run.

I feel much the same way, this team is actually very close to being 3-1 but for a couple botched plays (even Sunday Ebron and Pascal drop perfect passes that could very have likely been a W), and really the potential was there to be 4-0 with a win over the defending SB champs. Clay Travis was pointing out our point differential and we are something like 6 pts down across 4 games and talked about how we could very well be going into tomorrow night asking whether the Colts could deliver the kill shot to their nemesis- so others see it building as well.

There is some talent here, and more than anything I think there is a hell of a lot of coaching here now- (fuck you Dam). You can feel it building- keep Luck clean and this could be a really scary team next year.

The Colts finally get a star defender (maybe two) and get their franchise QB back, and you want to say that the positive results are due to coaching. I get it, logic holds no place here.

No one is saying all results are due to coaching, would you agree that the coaching is better this year than last?
