Alvin Kamara
Does Chris Ballard have the balls to go after a much needed RB, who is 3 yrs year older than JT?
We desperately need a true #2 RB behind JT, and the last 2 weeks have shown that DJ Giddens is not ready yet. His pass blocking has been atrocious. The play against the Rams where he blocked nobody and didn't run a pass pattern, and instead stood at the LOS looking dazed and confused was down right embarrassing. With Goodson still hurt we need something, somebody who can play RB. The Saints are going nowhere and have to unload him. I would offer a 5th rd. pick under the condition that they eat enough of his salary to keep us afloat this season. IMO, Kamara in a limited role could be a game breaker. |
That would be awesome, but it is not likely to happen. Kamara counts $10M against the cap, and we have less than $5M

The team is 3 and 1 and already I see a weakness in DJ. Unless I'm wrong, he doesn't have a strong enough arm to stretch the field, thus long passes to Pierce and Mitchell will either be under thrown or they'll take too much time to get there and the safety will be able to recover. Soon, defenses are going to adjust to this weakness and tighten their coverage on the shorter routes. Getting Kamara won't resolve this problem. Before the season is half done, there will be clamoring to put AR in. If we're lucky, he'll succeed, if not, we need to draft a QB. Ya'll may not agree with this, that's fine, it's only my opinion.

As long as he can hit 15-25 yard passes, then I am not terribly concerned with defenses selling out to stop the short passing game. And I do thing DJ can hit those intermediate passes well. He just needs to make sure that when he does bomb deep to back the defenses off, that he does so in such a way that it is either a Colt making the catch or it is uncatchable. I love sideline jump balls for that choice. And I, for one, will never ask for AR to be in the Colts starting lineup every again. I was done with him at the end of 2024. |

I am not with Sherk at all with AR. One of the things I really like about this Jones/Steichen team is that this looks like what a well integrated and run team (mostly) should look like. We have leadership apparently on this team now. It is exactly the situation AR should be in to learn. I have no idea if he is learning but am hopeful. AR has to much talent, seems to be to good of a person to give up on this easily to me. |
fuck no on kamara
that's absurd |
