One of the best pitchers in all of baseball will miss the entire 2025 season, and probably part of 2026.

I hate the Yankees, but I like Cole ...... I think that he is a great pitcher, and I was very impressed at how he kept his composure in the World Series last year while the Yankees' defense was falling to pieces around him.

I like Cole so much that I root for him to pitch well when the Yankees are playing against any other team besides the Orioles ...... considering that the Yankees play in the same division as the Orioles and the fact that him pitching well could decrease the Orioles' chances of winning the division, that's some pretty strong admiration.

Of course, when any other Yankees pitcher besides Cole is on the mound, I root for them to gives up about 11 Runs in their first 2 Innings Pitched.
