I'm rooting for the Chiefs, because ......


1) ) I hate the Baltimore Ravens more than any professional sports franchise in the world, including the New York Yankees ...... I'm an Oriole fan, and I would rather see the Yankees win 7 consecutive World Series before I saw the Ravens win 1 Super Bowl ...... that's some pretty strong hate.


2) ) The more conference championships and/or Super Bowls that Patrick Mahomes wins as a starting quarterback, the more that the myth/notion that Tom Brady is necessarily the greatest quarterback who ever laced up a pair of cleats gets debunked ...... I believe that somebody coming along and equaling or bettering what Brady did in a short amount of time in regard to racking up Super Bowl appearances devalues the notion that Brady is necessarily the greatest quarterback ever to lace up a pair of cleats than it does to undermine the greatness of quarterbacks such as Dan Marino, Peyton Manning, Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees, and Johnny Unitas.
