Last year, there was a game in which he twice put his head down and challenged defenders to fight for extra yardage on the same drive. The first time was on 3rd down, and the Colts needed the yards for the first down (which Richardson got.) The next time was on 2nd down.

I was all for what he did the first time, but not the second time ...... now that he has a years' experience of professional football under his belt (some playing, mostly watching), I'm hoping that he has taken such experiences, and uses them to choose wisely ...... franchise QB's have to know their value to the team, and understand that there are times when taking the risk of fighting for a few extra yards is worth it, and there are times when it's not.

I think Steichen will help him understand that, at least I hope so.

This site is still slow as molasses.

What the exact subject matter of their recent conversation was and what it entailed remains unclear, but his agent noted that there was advice given.

While other players may be doing less productive things with their time away from the game, Richardson appears to be making the most of the remaining off-season until training camp kicks off.

So the article tells us nothing, and also makes it clear that Richardson (in the author's opinion) acts more like a boy-scout than some other NFL players do ...... not exactly a ringing endorsement for the depth that is required to get an article published in ) Stampede Blue.

I have rarely been impressed with the depth of any articles on there, but they do give you something to read in the down months.

Depth is one thing. That article essentially showed Richardson having his picture taken with Joe Montana. It said absolutely nothing, and was the quintessential example of click-bait.
