Jelani Woods
Is he done for the season?
|
Woods was placed on IR due to a hamstring injury.
Due to that designation, he has to miss at least 4 games and so the earliest that he could be back is Week 5. If the Colts thought he was "done for the year," they wouldn't have bothered with placing him on the final 53 on final cut down day....they would have just IR'ed him in training camp and then his season would have been over. |

Seems that Jelani has now injured his other hamstring during rehab. Looks like he will continue to be out for a while. https://twitter.com/JoelAErickson/st...55797218968048 Quote:

He tore his hamstring pretty bad I believe. Takes a long time to heal.

Yes, but Steichen indicated that the setback was due to Woods aggravating his other hamstring. He mentions it at just before the 4:30 mark of this video press conference: https://www.colts.com/video/shane-st...-vs-buccaneers |

)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) (2 YEARS LATER) (vs. PACKERS, 8/16) ) [Exhibition Game] Woods made what appeared to make a game-winning TD catch with 6 seconds left in the 4th quarter when the booth turned the call over for an incomplete pass. They initially ruled it a catch on the 1/2-yardline ...... I thought that they were deciding on whether or not it was a TD or a 1st down and goal, and in fact they said that it wasn't even a catch. ) o |
