Given NFL’s plan to flex Thursday night games, maybe Mark Cuban was right, after all

The NFL can flex whatever they like. I'll remain on the high seas, and watch whatever game I want. They get $0 from me.

Yeah, that’s pretty ridiculous. And I think Florio is right that this is a desperate attempt to boost the bad ratings on Amazon.
But geez, talk about jerking literally everyone from the fans to the employees to the players around. How is anyone supposed to make any concrete plans if this is adopted? Ridiculous. |
This is a very bad idea, I don't see it happening.

Every time I consider getting some kind of package, the NFL does something greedy, and I just put that thought aside.
Indy home fans travel as far away as western Illinois, Louisville, Dayton, Cincy, all along the Great Lakes from S Chicago to Fort Wayne. Thats not considering those who fly in. KC and Denver have a large following who travel to home games, and Im betting the same can be said of the west coast teams. It is the east coast centric execs trying to wring every penny out of TV. They will do this, and other nonsense until we stop going and watching |
I'd just as soon get rid of Thursday football altogether. I hate it about as much as I hate the 17 game schedule and week 4&14 bye weeks.

I’m with Chaos, that shit is weak.
Let the college kids and JV have it. |

If the Colts game is not on in the New York State regional area, I just watch the game for free on my computer. Also, my cable package doesn't include the NFL Network, but I still watch those games on my computer for free, too. I am entertained by the NFL, and I will even occasionally go see a game at an NFL stadium, but fuck them ...... those cash-cows make billions hand-over-fist, and they did their darndest to keep as much money away from retired and/or disabled players for decades, and they also tried to hit the mute button on the whole CTE situation when it first became apparent. I think the NFL is on too many night now. Pretty soon they will have Wed specials, or Friday night lights games. The anticipation for the end of the week dissipates.
