This is a good point, one that I’m not sure a lot of people realize. He’s gonna struggle until he gets acclimated.

Veldheer came in out of retirement and played very well last yr. Fisher is better than Veldheer. But I get it. Fisher is coming off of an injury.

He needed bodies for training camp. He needed vets who could, if need be play. Ballard and Irsay spent A LOT of money on guys who deserved a raise, and there were fewer option for what was left in the cap.
