Kenny Moore II Named AFC Defensive Player of the Week

o

Moore's one-handed INT was at least a 6-point swing ....... the Raiders had a chip-sot field goal in their pocket which Moore's INT denied, and the Colts took the rest of the time off of the clock and kicked a field goal of their own to end the first half on the ensuing possession.

Moore also forced a fumble in the 4th quarter, and made 5 solo tackles.

Well deserved. Thought this would be coming with the acrobatic INT and game sealing FF.

As I alluded to in the OP, the timing of Moore's INT was ideal ...... while the Colts wound up winning the game going away, nobody knew that that would be the case at that time.

1) ) The Colts were desperately clinging to a 17-14 lead.

2) ) The Raiders were at the tail-end of a long, sustained drive.

3) ) Most Colts fans (including myself) were praying that we could just hold them to a chip-shot field goal attempt, and give up only 3 points instead of 7.

4) ) But then, out of nowhere, Moore's amazing INT gave us more than most of us were hoping for.
