That seems like a bit of an overpay. Not much, but a bit.

Not sure about the overpay part, as we don’t know all the terms yet, but we’re getting him for his 28, 29 and 30 years, which are often peak years for his position:

We’ve also got Buckner locked up for these same years, so we’re definitely in good shape at DT for the foreseeable future.

I don't think so. He would have got that much or more in free agency.

In a normal year, maybe. Not in this year where the cap is dropping by nearly $25 million.

Teams always over pay in free agency and Grover is having a great year. The kicker is sometimes players are great in one system and terrible in another

Playing next to Buckner helped his development

Fuck that. Pay the man. He deserves it.

He's been with the team for a long time and has literally done everything right.

Big Grove deserves that and more. Him and Buckner form maybe the best DT tandem in the NFL.
