Vote for the Maniac!!

Voting is currently open for the Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Year Award. It is voted by fans through an online ballot. It is one of the awards presented during the year-end NFL Honors awards presentation. There are five finalists up for the award and Leonard is the only defensive player on the list.

Any award that allows fan involvement is dubious at best.

Exactly. Unless the link was broken, I was able to vote for Leonard about 25 times in the span of a couple minutes.

Took a look at the last 15 years. Appears the fan vote matched the AP OROY or DROY winner 9 out of the 15 times.

Not surprisingly, the fan results did vote for more QB's than the AP when there were differences.

During Luck's rookie year, the fan vote picked Russell Wilson; AP picked RGIII.

That was 24 more times than I did!!

Sometimes these ballots record your IP address and throw out duplicates (only your first vote counts); other times they allow you multiple votes. For instance, MLB all star voting allows each person 35 votes. I didn't see a link to their terms / rules of the balloting so I just submitted it once.
