The Braves are the only Major League Baseball franchise to win at least 1 World Series in 3 different cities (Boston, Milwaukee, and Atlanta.) The Atlanta Journal-Constitution sportswriter Mark Bradley is going on record to say he believes that the Braves will not only make it to the World Series for the first time since 1999, but that they will win it all for the first time since 1995.

Down 0-2, but the Dodgers did come back being down 3-1 to win it all, so we still have some hope.

On August 1st, the Atlanta Braves had an overall record of 52-55. After that, they went on a late-season tear reminiscent of the 1973 New York Mets (who were in last place on August 30th, then stormed back to win both the division title and the National League Pennant.) Those 1973 Mets fell one game short of winning it all, bowing to the Oakland A's in the World Series 4 games to 3. The 2021 Atlanta Braves did not.
