On Saturday night, BYU will recognize members of "The Black 14" ...... the Black 14 were a group of former Wyoming players kicked off of the team in 1969 for wanting to protest a Latter-Day Saints church policy that prohibited Black men from becoming priests.

I'm glad that BYU is doing the right thing now, and accepting the fact that they were on the wrong side of history back then.

it's small potatoes compared to the OP, but BYU beat SMU in a rematch of their famous 1980 Holiday Bowl ...... with 4 minutes left in that game 42 years ago, SMU led by a score of 45-25. Jim McMahon engineered a miraculous comeback by leading his team to 3 TD's in those final 4 minutes for a thrilling 46-45 BYU victory.
