Luck contract vs. Wilson
 

How much of a bargain does Luck look like right now compared to the contracts recently being signed by QBs?

$35 million a year for Russell Wilson? I like Russell Wilson OK, but he is not worth $10 a year more than Luck.

Of course looking ahead, Luck if he signs one more contract in 5 years or so may be looking at $40 million a year or more.

Luck's a bargain (though I think his contract still set records when it was signed a couple years ago). I'd rather have Luck of course, but Wilson's worth the $35M in the context of the modern NFL - maybe even more. Luck's probably worth $50M or more, if someone like Khalil Mack is worth $25M. As good as Mack is, QBs play a much larger role in the success of a team than any other position.
