Frankly, this move was coming for weeks. When the Colts decided Brett Hundley was ahead of Eason on the depth chart, that told you all you needed to know.

Colts definitely have interest in bringing QB Jacob Eason back to the practice squad, per source.

Wasted pick by Ballard. Ballard loves those physical tools. Hope Ehlinger has a direct dial to Drew Brees and can improve his arm like Drew did.

Hindsight, always 20/20

If I’m Eason and I have a single other offer, I’m taking it rather than going to the practice squad.

Reich more or less threw him under the bus after the Rams game.

To be clear, I don’t believe either Ehlinger or Eason will ever be decent quarterbacks.

But I like Ehlingers chances more than Easons.

You know another way of judging how a GM drafts? Foresight?

Winning games. What is the % of the total number of draft picks make it in the NFL for three years?

Paris Cambell is probably out for the year (a first roud pick), and that is something to hang on the GM. A 4th rounder? Eason has a cannon arm, hard to find and he was gamble from start.

Eaason is not the reason this team wont make the playoffs

WTF us up your ass? All I said was that it was a wasted pick. Maybe you disagree and think that a fourth round pick that plays in one game and shits his pants then gets canned is a good use of a fourth round pick. I don't and I don't mean a fucking thing more than that. You really are Ballards bitch if this bothers you. I would venture that Ballard would agree with me. I said nothing about this as a judgement on him as a GM. You took that all on your lonesome so you are arguing with no one. I happen to think Ballard is one of the best GMs in the business. This was a wasted pick.

I feel like I was in the minority but I thought Ehlinger looked better in preseason. As for a wasted pick, in hindsight Eason definitely was. I understand taking a flyer on a midround QB. Too bad it didn't work out.
