Oline woes.

Kelly out for Sunday, Rainman likely out as well. He’s in the concussion protocol.

Braden Smith and Quenton Nelson have both missed practice this week, both today if I’m not mistaken.

It appears Fries is the only starter who will definitely play.

What the heck? Might want to sit AR one more week or Aaron Donald will take his head off.

What we get for getting excited. Goddamn concussions...

If nothing else, we will probably get to see how our young-and-inexperienced-but-mobile quarterback reacts to a lot of pressure ......

How often will he choose to tuck the ball and run ???

Will he take unnecessary hits in non-crucial situations when he does run with the ball ???

Will he either eat the ball for a sack or throw it away for an incompletion instead of making a bad situation worse by risking an INT by forcing the ball into double coverage ???

Will he have to leave the game temporarily to take a piss in the men's room if his bladder gets full during the 4th quarter ???

Colts QB Anthony Richardson will start but as many as three starting linemen could be out

INDIANAPOLIS -- Anthony Richardson is back out of the concussion protocol and will start Sunday's home game against the Rams but protecting him is going to remain a major concern.

The Colts will be without at least one offensive lineman Sunday, with left tackle Bernhard Raimann entering the concussion protocol Friday after experiencing symptoms from practice. Either fourth-round BYU rookie Blake Freeland or versatile backup Arlington Hambright will start at left tackle.

Center Ryan Kelly practiced in full Wednesday and Thursday after missing Sunday's win over the Ravens with a brain injury, but he missed Friday after he failed to clear the league's protocol. It remains to be seen whether he's officially out, but center Wesley French could make a second straight start at center with backup Danny Pinter out for the year with a broken ankle.

Indianapolis Colts left tackle Bernhard Raimann will miss Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Rams as part of the NFL's concussion protocol.

Right tackle Braden Smith missed Friday's practice with a hand injury, but his status for the game is unknown. If he has to miss, Freeland would start in his spot with Hambright at left tackle.

The Colts did get All-Pro guard Quenton Nelson back Friday after he missed two practices with a toe injury.

All-Pro defensive tackle DeForest Buckner missed the full week of practice with a groin injury. Defensive tackle Grover Stewart missed Friday's practice with a foot injury.

A full game status report will be available Friday afternoon.

The make-shift line will have its hands full against the Rams and Aaron Donald, a three-time defensive player of the year who moves all over the defensive line to exploit mismatches. The job will be to better protect Richardson, who finished each of his first two starts with injury questions.

Feeeland, Nelson, French, Fries, Hambright?

Ohh boy, better strap in.

Do not like.

If in the best case scenario we end up with a line of Hambright or Freeland at tackle, Nelson, French, Smith, the only other available linemen on the roster are Sills and one of either Hambright or Freeland.

Dakoda Shepley, Ike Boettger and someone called Lewis Kidd are the only other options on the practice squad that we could call up. Shepley and Boettger are both listed as guards and Kidd a C. So no tackle depth at all. Surely we have to call up at least one, and if someone else is not able to go, maybe all three of them?

The Colts elevated G Ike Boettger and WR Amari Rodgers to the active roster from the practice squad for Sunday's game.

I’m not too worried about French at center, it’s the tackles that worry me

absolutely no to sitting a qb just because the oline is down a guy to two. could you imagine manning or luck just saying "no thanks, i will play next week"

fuck that. it doesn't even make sense
