Super quick service bought on Colts vs texicans
1). Best game Brissett has played. He is still late on passes. Not allowing yac st times. But you can’t complain much today. Dude did what he had to.
2). Oline wasn’t impressive today. Brissett took hits and there was no run game at all. The run game was the most worrisome. We need to be able to impose our will on the ground. Brissett won’t beat many teams with his arm. 3). Would have liked to have seen more Wilkins today. 4). Finally a wr stepped up. Thank you pascal. Does Cain exist? 5). Ebron had his big boy pants on today. Great to see. He is too good to be irrelevant 6). The dline isn’t good. Ballard needs to spend some cash here. 7. Lbers made some plays today and struggled as well. Really not understanding the lack of plays for Leonard. He was everywhere last year. Not so much this year. 8). Willis is a player. Not a perfect game but you can just see that he has some special abilities. 9). At times Milligan was playing slot corner with another safety over top. Thought that was interesting 10. Got to give the d coaches a lot of credit. They have been doing wonders with limited talent |

Leonard is doing some things that aren't real good- that late complete head tuck whiff was flat out bad. Hopefully this late game impact play lights his engine. Willis will end up taking the starting spot no question. Love Sheard, tough tough contain guy, but man we need more speed off that edge. |

I will add that the rookies who are playing have abilities to impact this team well. So are those who are in year 2. Add in Pascal as a third year WR, and the core is very young and has the potential to be very good.
|
I can't say enough about Pascal, he had a fantastic game, we needed someone to step up and he did so in a huge way.
Was cain even targeted? Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk |

2. see above 3. I agree 4. As long as someone does step up 5. Yes 6. D line gave up 100 yds on the ground. 2 INTs and 3 sacks. The prevent at the end didn't help, but it works as much as I hate it. 7. Leonard had a deflected pass early and was a pain in the ass all day. 10 tackles 7 solo 8. agree 9. agree 10. absolutely |

Adam Vinatieri to Eric Ebron: “That was one of the top 25 catches I’ve seen” on his TD.
Ebron responded: “That means a lot since you’ve been playing 85 years:” |

Houston has one of the best run d’s in the league. With Clowney gone they are better. We weren’t going to run on them today. We needed to pass to win. Still Mack was a few shoe strings away from breaking one. I like Mack but just don’t think he is elite, wonder what a elite back would do behind this line.
Jacoby looked pretty good, sans that bad fumble. His underneath game needs a little more work though, some more touch on those short throws. Big armed QBs often have that issue. RBs aren’t going to catch missiles. I also want him to speed up his reads. Still he is safe with the ball and makes decent decisions. I wonder what he will look like next year. Will he progress? Still a good day and what he needed. We need to find a second receiver to our next to TY. TY is nearing the end of his career and never really had a running mate except for Reggie for a bit. I wonder how Funchess will look when he gets back. This team beat a good Houston team. I think they are a better team than last year. It was a good solid win. |
Another solid effort by the defense even without Hooker and Moore
|
Kinda shocked to see we had zero rushing 1st downs. I know we never got our running game going but still...

Good win.
JB did well overall. Needs to work on hitting receivers in stride better. Nice game by paschal. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Look at the first drive: 12 playsHouston dared us to pass the ball and we executed. I'm surprised that we didn't get more rushing In the second half, but it seemed like Houston stuck with their plan and kept stacking the box instead of adjusting. Classic Pagano. |

On the radio this morning they said to expect to hear about Funchess in limited practice this week gearing up for a return against Jags off IR. Man I hope so. |

I see the Texans just traded for Gareon Conley. Trying to upgrade their corners.
|
Wanted to throw some love Sheard's way. He is not spectacular but his presence was sorely missed. I knew we missed him on run defense but he has really made a difference getting to the passer.
