Official Bye week Game thread

No game this week. Go back to bed and wait a week to get back up.

Hate bye week

albany ed 11-04-2018 10:41 AM

There's a few good games to view this week. Saints vs. Rams. Pack vs. Pats.

Dewey 5 11-04-2018 11:13 AM

Go Packers. Fuck the cheats.
Go Broncos. Fuck the Texicans.
First bye week in years, with the exception of Dam, that we aren't bitching about Pagano. Fuck him too.

I'm seriously at a loss for what to do today. Other than tonight's matchup between Tommy terrific and AR I'm not interested in any of the other games.

That is the one I want to watch. However, I get Baltimorons or the Foreskins here.

Edit: I do get it at 4:00

HoosierinFL 11-04-2018 02:40 PM

Watching Jets V Dolphins. Anderson looks ok in spurts, Basham completely ineffective. Dolphins are running the ball on them pretty effectively.

Racehorse 11-04-2018 03:12 PM

Alex Smith just got rocked on a run play

JAFF 11-04-2018 04:39 PM

We got KC v Cleveland or Bears v Bills

I sure got the fuzzy end of that lollypop

omahacolt 11-04-2018 05:06 PM

The lions shit the bed

Jets/ Dolphins, Redskins / Falcons won't be in the running foe "game of the week" either!! Just a lot of shitty games on today.

I'm not sure there is a good team in the NFL. Rams and Cheifs have flaws. The Texans about lost to us when we didn't have a settled O line. The Browns scored some points on the Cheifs.

The Colts D looks a lot better when IF they can find a pass rusher. I'm not a big fan of free agency, but if they draft one and there is one available on the open market with the money the Colts have.......the D gets better in a hurry.

They don't need to sign a lot of free agents. Just one that makes an impact.

o

The Broncos completely mismanaged the final 23 seconds of the half, and it cost them 3 points.

First of all, they did the stupidest thing in the world by calling a timeout out a split second before the Texans hiked the ball on the field goal attempt. That essentially gave the kicker a practice kick, which he used to his advantage (he missed the first attempt, and then made the second attempt.)

Secondly, they made the wrong gamble prior to that sequence when they had 4th down on the Texans' 44 yard-line with only 23 seconds left to play in the half. By attempting (and missing) that very low-percentage field goal attempt (a 62 yarder), they gave the Texans an extra 8 yards because the team gets the ball from the place of the kick, not from the line of scrimmage. If they had INSTEAD gone for it on 4th down, the risk would have been less ......... if they made the first down, great. But even if there was an incomplete pass and they turned the ball back over, the Texans would have taken over at the line of scrimmage, which (again) would have been 8 yards further away from their own field goal range than from where they actually got it on (from the place of the missed field goal attempt.)

Case Keenum rallied the team, but Brandon McManus missed a field goal attempt on the final play of the game.

The Saints look very good. That last TD Brees threw was perfectly placed. That dude is unreal.

I agree, but if Luck gets us into the playoffs, he could win it

Racehorse 11-04-2018 09:57 PM

Face guarding not called against the Cheats. Shocked? Nah!

omahacolt 11-04-2018 10:08 PM

Fuck the Pats.

Butter 11-04-2018 11:44 PM

Christ the Refs constantly bail out the Pats.
