Inconito

Go get him

It would make up the 2 most bad ass guards in the NFL

Between and Nelson anyone that got close to Luck would get their asses beat

I'll put a $1,000 bet on him not even visiting here.

Dam8610 05-21-2018 06:55 PM

Why would Ballard let Braden Smith ride the pine to sign a mid 30s OG? That makes no sense.

Smith played some RT. JSYK. And a yr contract would be perfect

He played mostly OG in college, he was announced as a OG, and the NFL is a step up in competition from the SEC. I don't think the plan is to play him at RT, nor should it be, and certainly not to sign Richie Incognito.

Butter 05-21-2018 08:13 PM

The Colts have made a huge investment at guard already if Smith is not fully ready to go day 1 and he damn well should be as high as Ballard took him, Mewhort is solid for the 5 games he might be healthy for to give him time to get up to speed.

Puck 05-21-2018 09:46 PM

I have wanted Richie for a long time.

So I am biased

FatDT 05-22-2018 06:47 AM

He's old. He's not a player you sign when you're building a new culture. We have our starting guards of the future. No to Incognito.

i'D DO IT AS AN ENFORCER/BACK UP

Isn't "enforcer/tough guy" the role Nelson was brought in to fill?

There is no limit on how a team can have. But having 2 Baby Faced enforcers to protect Luck wouldn't be a bad thing. We would run all over everyone.

Ballard said this team needs toughness. This would do it. If he can't beat out Smith or Mewhort then release him. If he can play him. I hope Ballard isn't like Grigshit and plays someone even if he isn't the best player because he drafted him, or traded for him....

Competition..... That is what Ballard preaches. If and when Smith can beat him out then so be it.

I see your point. I would just roll with the kids this year personally

Brylok 05-22-2018 05:16 PM

Eagles just released LB Mychal Kendricks. I'd take a look at him especially when you look at the LBs we currently have.

Yes, he has a point, but we already have plenty of competition at Guard, Nelson, Smith, Slauson, Mewhort, Good, Haeg, Bond and VJ.

That is a signing I could sign off on. But, I'm not giving him more than a 1 or 2 year deal, because he's certainly no world beater.

Yes. Yes. Yes.

A trillion times. Yes.

Sign Mychal Kendricks.

FatDT 05-22-2018 08:45 PM

Yes sign Kendricks.

sherck 05-23-2018 07:00 AM

Kendricks is an experienced and solidly good SSLB in the Eagles 4-3 defense. He has been unhappy in PHI as his playtime has diminished over the past 2 seasons but when on the field he delivers good play.

I would bring him in to talk, like today, to see what his thought are. We can offer him a starting role immediately and he could be a veteran mentor to all the younger kids who will end up making the cut.

SSLB = Kendricks
MLB = Winner winner, chicken dinner of Walker, Goode, Franklin or Adams
WSLB = Leonard

While still not an average or strong group, that would be a better lineup that I would have expected based on where we started from.

Walk Worthy,

May need to pass, I wanted him when he signed with Bills and even yesterday, however with this news he just might be a nut job and a cancer in locker room …

Free agent OG Richie Incognito was involved in an altercation at a Florida gym on Wednesday and is being held by police for an involuntary psychiatric evaluation.

It's called the Baker Act, which is an involuntary mental evaluation. Incognito allegedly threw a dumbbell at another man in a Boca Raton gym this morning "for no apparent reason" after first throwing a tennis ball at the gym-goer. Incognito was allegedly "rambling about the government and screaming at the other man to 'get off my f*cking playground'." This is the second time Incognito has been held under the Baker Act, with the first coming in 2014. Incognito is a free agent after being released by the Bills this week. He had planned to continue his career.

nate505 05-23-2018 03:28 PM

Well, he's a fucking nutjob.

Chromeburn 05-23-2018 04:42 PM

Incognito has always been a nut job. But his Bills teammates seem to love him. Still I would just play the rookies unless Reich doesn’t think they’re ready.
