Don’t know what other people think, but Ballard seemed absolutely pissed.

Pissed...and almost relieved he didn't get that dick.

Highlights:
-He had no indication McDaniels was wavering.
-Had some other coaches that they didn’t interview due to playoffs and not being able to fit everyone in schedule.
-Nothing firm about Luck. He isn’t throwing yet, so don’t know for sure one way or another on surgery.
-Isn’t too concerned about not having a coach yet. Says they will have someone good.
-Ballard really likes Eberflus. Says the team will have a Marinelli-style defense (read: 4-3)
-Ballard took complete ownership of the announcement earlier in the day. Said it was his decision.
-At the end, Ballard half-jokingly said that the rivalry was back on.

I like ballard even more through this.

Man it is good to have a competent GM.

I also like that we are hearing almost strictly from ballard recently, especially on things like this. irsay isnt tweeting random shit. looks like the house is getting back to order compared to the past 6 years.

He's certainly respectable. Hopefully he can string together a few good drafts and right this ship.

Ballard said "He doesn't need surgery."

He also said that the shoulder is completely unpredictable and nobody really knows.

and that is true

until he starts throwing the football to the boundaries with velocity many times a day, we won't know.


and even then we probably won't know until training camp at the earliest.
