***The Official Chiefs BBQ The Colts Gameday Thread***
Have at it, freaks.
The Chiefs will shut JT down and harass Jones until he literally wets his pants on the field. 34-17 Chiefs. |
Without Buckner, the Chiefs will have a strong running attack. Colts will stay close, but won't beat the Chiefs and the refs combined.
|
Dolts, 37 and the Chefs 24
|
Low scoring slugfest with Colts defensive backfield causing all kinds of problems moving the ball.
Colts 17-14 |
The Chiefs defense has two pretty glaring weaknesses that play into the Colts' strengths: they don't defend the run well and they don't defend TEs well in the passing game. The Chiefs offense likes to play a ball control style that is heavily reliant on the short passing game due to their lack of success running the ball. The Colts defense may be the best equipped in the league to take the short passing game away from them with Sauce, Ward, and Moore at CB.
I say all of this to say I am cautiously optimistic about this game, as has been the case throughout most of the season. |
I can't determine if the Chiefs are really down or just not focused....I mean they are 6-5 but considered the best team by many so-called experts! I feel like being at home after a loss, they should be very focused, so I think this game will answer the question, are they really losing their edge or just not taking this season serious yet!
I think it is the latter and we get stomped today! Chiefs 31 Colts 17 |
Coats don not step on their own dicks in seasonably warm Arrowhead Stadium and win 29-20.
The key is as always in any NFL game, keep the TO's to 1 or less and the penalties to 5 or less. |

I do want to say I hope I am wrong and the Chiefs really are losing their edge, the Colts have an opportunity to show they are for real today, we have a history of beating the Chiefs, even at their place! |
Went and checked out some of the Chiefs forums and their fans for the most part are really down on their team. Most are picking us to win and are shocked that they are favored. I guess that is what happens to your fan base when you win all the time and suddenly have a rough start to a season?

As for my prediction It’s gonna be a hard fought playoff like game a struggle for yards but once again Jonathan Taylor will put the game away in the 4th quarter. Colts 24- Chefs 17 Bury these mfers!!! Win for Jim |
No win situation. If they lose, pundits will say they’re pretenders. If they lose, those same pundits will claim it was a victory over a team in decline.
Colt 28-24 |
Colts 27
Chefs 17 Mahomes throws a pick six. |
Our D will win this one. Chiefs will have a hard time throwing and will rely on running the ball. Lets see how Bucks backups do. I say there will be 2 interceptions 1 by by Kenny Moore and 1 by Jaylon Jones. Defense will score
I hope we see 2 TE's a lot to help with protection and I think JT goes for 150+ Colts 38-20 |

I'm looking specifically at three things
What does this defense look like with two shut down corners. Does Lou cook up some crazy shit and does it work. This will be a work in progress that gets better as it matures but this game should give us a glimpse of what is possible. Who is Daniel Jones? I doubt he is as good as his first 7 games (he would be a shoo in for the Hall of Fame if this was his resume) and really hope he isn't the guy we saw in the last two games (and I only really mean his propensity for fumbles, the interceptions don't bother me that much-they happen). Like most things in life it will be somewhere in-between most likely. Hope we have a good game plan, are ready to play and win big. I believe we should, we have better players. Like to see us physically take it to these suckers, we have the line and size everywhere to do it. We are built to win in the outside and in weather. This team wasn't built as your typical dome team. Just need the correct mind set. |
B on the title. I like it but not the ideal format. overall it was like Dam orders steaks. well done
colts lose a close one. 20-17 |
really interested in seeing how the d plays. we should be able to buy our rush some time. hopefully we can stop the run enough that it matters.
also really interested in seeing how Jones does against the chiefs defense. really hope we get a clean game. |
Happy Gameday, Freaks!
Colts 38 Chiefs 17 JT runs for over 175 and at least two TD. Pundits say the Colts have still not beaten a good team. |

I would like to see 200ish yards from JT and I’ll feel comfortable
|
Win this and the "Colts haven't played anybody" narrative goes away. I think. Unless the chefs are frauds like the Bills.
|
Looks like they are determined to get JT very involved right out of the gate.
Good. |
What about the Chief lined up offside?
|
Refs already getting creative with their calls......
|
Nonsense illegal formation call.
|
Fucking refs!
|
Chefs friendly call for sure
|
Pretty much figured we get fucked today!
|
The OL is fucking shit up lack of concentration or some bullshit
|
How is Jones not lined up offside?
|
Colts penalties killing them
|

Not gonna win with these penalties. Good punt though.
Also, not a fan of taking the ball. Defer to the second half. |
That fucking illegal formation...
Get ready to see our DBs get DPI penalties out the ass if they go Man. |
