Ummm....Chris Hinton is 64 years old.

I know our Offensive Line has been taking a step back these last two games and he was great when he played for the Colts (1983-1989) but I don't think they should be THAT desperate.

However, if you mean Chris Hinton JR who was a Michigan Wolverine DT that went undrafted in 2022 and has bounced around a lot of NFL teams so far in his young career, then that would be alright.

Was kind of hoping there was a kicker listed.

The Jaguars are releasing veteran DT Khalen Saunders, per source.

A two-time Super Bowl champion in Kansas City, Saunders now heads to waivers with a chance to help another contender in a playoff push.

Thoughts?

Thoughts?

In 2023/2024, he started 27 of 30 games for NO getting 100 tackles with 6.5 sacks, 7 TFLs.

His cap hit was only 1.7m for 2025 for the Jags. This was not a move to clear salary cap.

My guess is that he is medically limited because those stats for a NT or 1-tech (depending of defense) are solid for the past two seasons. You don't cut an effective player this time of year who is that low of a cap hit.

If he passes medical, then sure! Our DT rotation could use another body who has starter experience. But, my guess is that he will not pass medical.

Looks like there is interest

Sources: Veteran DT Khalen Saunders has received strong interest from multiple teams — including the Ravens, Colts, Jets and Cardinals — since being released by the Jaguars last week.

He’ll begin taking visits and is expected to sign sooner rather than later.

Seems strange that a team in the playoff hunt would cut him. Something is going on there.

He will get a chance to get major snaps there, and maybe a bigger extension than he would get here.

I dont know the contract details. But he will most likely be gone after this yr and the Jets ONCE AGAIN rebuild

YDFL Commish 11-17-2025 10:34 PM

He's a JAG, never has produced and easily replaceable. Only the worst team in the league would pick him up.
